WUA Radar Ystad has broken ground on a major expansion of water and sewer infrastructure in the municipality’s southeast. The investment is put at around SEK 500 million. Work is planned in seven phases from 2026 to 2030, providing new connections and increased network capacity.
HBK’s new kit draws on a 1930 work by Erik Olson of the Halmstadgruppen artists’ group. The collaboration with Mjellby Art Museum brings local art history and football together. The kit is due to be used against IFK Göteborg at Gamla Ullevi on Saturday 12 September.
People who want to keep cycling through winter can now apply for Öckerö’s Vintercyklist scheme for 2026/2027. The municipality will select 20 participants to receive studded tyres, fitting and reflective equipment. Applications remain open through 27 September, with the winter cycling period starting in December.

The Swedish Election Authority now estimates that at most 500 voters are affected by early ballots that probably cannot be identified. The earlier estimate was around 4,000. The September 7 assessment remains preliminary, and the number may fall as the analysis continues.
