Four advance votes received at two Huddinge libraries on 28 August are affected by a registration error. The municipality has identified and contacted two voters. The remaining two can only be narrowed down by place and exact time and must vote at their regular polling station on 13 September.
What happened?
The Election Authority has told Huddinge Municipality that four advance votes are covered by the reported registration error. Two were received at Huddinge main library, Kommunalvägen 28, between 11:20 and 11:30 on 28 August. Two were received at Skogås library, Skogåstorget 7–9, between 13:20 and 13:25 that day.
Two of the four voters have been identified and contacted. For the other two, the municipality only has the location, date and time interval. The information is therefore being published so that people who voted at those precise times can recognise that they may be affected.

Impact and significance
The municipality's instruction is explicit: an affected person must not cast another advance vote, because both advance votes would then be invalid. Instead, the person needs to vote at their polling station on election day, Sunday 13 September. That ballot will be valid. The correct polling station is shown on the voter card or in the municipality's map service.
The notice concerns only the four misregistered votes and does not mean that everyone who voted early at either library is affected. The combination of the correct location, date and narrow time interval is decisive.
