Södertälje Municipality, the Home Guard, Södertälje Port and Söderenergi held their first joint food-preparedness exercise. The municipal catering unit cooked for about 150 soldiers from the local battalion in Moraberg, testing cooperation, local stocks and kitchen capacity.

Municipal cooks worked in tents beside a Home Guard mobile kitchen that can reportedly be set up in 25 minutes. The meal included locally grown grey peas. About 20% of the municipality's pulse stock is used in normal operations each year and replenished, keeping supplies in rotation.
