WUA Radar Musslan in Lilla Edet starts a new support group on September 7 for people between the ages of 7 and 19 who have a difficult home situation. The group meets two hours a week for twelve weeks. The municipality’s published registration date was August 17, so late applicants need to ask the business if there is a place.
Borlänge Days takes place on 21–22 August, but stage construction affects the town centre from 16 August. Parts of the Ovanbro parking area will close and Ovanbrogatan will have restricted through traffic on 18–23 August. Access to businesses and accessible parking will remain available, according to the municipality.

Preschool staff in Falköping gathered on August 10 for a skills development session on how educators can see and understand changes in children’s skills. Lecturers Christian Eidevald and Anna Palmer highlighted presence in conversations with children, language development, several scientific perspectives and documentation that does not interfere with interaction.
Teachers and special teachers in mathematics for grades 4–6 gathered on August 11 in Falköping for a lecture with mathematics developer Andreas Widlund. The focus was on how students can explore, reason and use mathematics in more contexts than the math tasks in the textbook.
Principals and several professional groups within Falköping’s student health gathered before the start of school to practice a digital system that the municipality already uses. With the help of fictitious student cases, the participants discussed routines, responsibilities and how different professions can collaborate in a more structured way around students.
Teachers in grades 7–9 in Falköping participated on 12 August in a workshop on how scientific theories can be used in daily teaching. Based on a concrete Swedish lesson, the teachers analyzed the start of the lesson, student tasks and conclusion and then planned their own teaching content in subject groups.
Strömstad municipality organizes a local party debate at Strömstad Gymnasium on August 25 at 6-8 p.m. Residents can submit questions to the municipality by August 18 at the latest. A selection will be made to the politicians during the evening, which will be recorded for those who cannot attend.

The voting cards for the elections on 13 September will be sent out between 15 and 26 August. Around 6.5 million voters receive the card in a digital mailbox and around 2.1 million receive it on paper. The voting card does not need to be brought when the voter votes, but valid identification is required.
