The study covers people aged 18 or over who were enrolled in municipal healthcare in either municipality at some point between 1 January 2024 and 30 June 2026. Information comes from municipal systems and those of Region Västra Götaland.

The municipality says information will be de-identified and research results presented at group level. The study is carried out by the Gothenburg Region in cooperation with the University of Gothenburg.
