Lund opens free cultural courses for children and young people

Author: WUA RadarPublished: Updated: Reviewed:

Kulturskolan Lund is accepting applications for free short courses and weekend classes in photography, band performance and manga drawing. No prior experience is required.

What happened?

Photography for ages 9–11 starts on 30 September and runs for eight Wednesdays. Band performance and manga for ages 9–19 start on 4 October and run for eight Sundays. A separate manga course in Dalby begins on 6 October.

Location

Lund, Dalby

Impact and significance

Free introductory courses can let more young people try cultural activities without prior experience. Places are limited, and admission to a short course does not automatically provide a place in the culture school's regular programme.

Background

The offer is intended in part for people waiting for regular tuition who do not already participate in another regular activity. A student may be admitted to only one short course per term.
